Today I went to a friend's ( Sally Askew) house for a neighborhood meeting which was about being organized. Lots of women were there, about twenty. I knew most but there are always some new faces. The presenter was an engineer, a graduate of UVA turned organizer. She started by asking us to count the items in our pocketbook. I had twelve. I think one women had thirty three. Some did not even bring a pocket book. Her tip was to put things together in groups and then put them in smaller containers. When I came home I put pens and comb and fingernail file into a glass case. I also cleaned out one drawer in the living room and my knitting basket and organized some pictures which is an ongoing process. I was very inspired and am going to try and remember some of the tips she gave us. One being constantly conscious of your goals about being organized. We talked a lot about material possessions, clothes kitchen utensils.
When I came home I checked the Amazon site. I ordered two copies of the same CD and I wanted to return one. I am going to have to wait until it arrives.
My next plan is to add some pictures but first I have to look at my pictures and see what I have.
