I have not created a post in several weeks even though my life has been very busy. This Saturday Walker and Hallie are married at St. Paul's Ivy. We throw the rehearsal dinner party Friday night at the 4H Center, Camp Albemarle. Big Jim's is doing the food which is ribs and chicken and beans and cookies. I bought some hoola hoops and chalk and bubbles for entertainment for the kids. I am a bit nervous about everything. Bradley is flying in with her son, David Quinn and friend Nate. They arrive Wednesday night. The flight looks complicated so I hope they make it through. I want to make sure there is enough food in the house. We are going to tell my sisters who are all coming that there is and open house on Saturday morning before the wedding. Hallie and Walker sent out a long description of what is going on here. It is suppose to be beautiful weather except for 30% chance of showers on Friday. I have my costume ready. I bought my dress at Belk. Today I am going to return the shoes that Rick gave me for my birthday.
Yesterday I turned 67. I received lots of greetings from my sisters and Jane and Chili. Rick cooked me both breakfast and dinner. I went to yoga with Ra and then to the Miller Center and heard a moving talk by a man that had been in prison for ten years and then because of DNA was released. He supposedly had raped a young women who was just finished college. When the woman found out she picked the wrong person she forgave him and they wrote a book together. the big thing is when do I get my hair done whether I do my nails. I am going to go out now and begin my round of errands.
