We are staying at the Bend House. Rick is in the common rooms with friends from Rotary. I hear them talking in very hushed tones. I am sitting on a long sofa right in front of the trundle bed. It is an old fashioned bed with lovely quilt covers to keep us warm. I slept okey. When I don’t fall asleep I do my breath work. I already took a shower and did my toilet so I am comfortable with my pajamas on. It is a bit chilly. I am not sure how to dress today. I have plenty of clothes. Right now I plan to put on shorts.
Last night we had dinner together at the Lodge. We drove in our car with the Stones. We walked down to the river together. Some members of our troop had trouble walking back. I did okey. I stayed with the Archers. We went into Buck’s Bar. We ordered wine. Paul paid for it. Some people ordered beer. I did not pay attention to what people drank. I ask Paul about Isreal. The Archer’s went there a year ago. We compared notes since Rick and I went there about five years ago.
Everyday we see news about Isreal on the television and read about it in the newspaper. It is a never ending story. There does not to be an answer since no one likes the Jews. They have never liked them since the time of Jesus.
I always like the pictures at Fort Lewis. Chee has come over here and painted and I would like to see if they hang one of her pictures.
We are home from Saturday
Thursday. I am sitting in bed. It is perfect weather. I am tired. We went to the baths at Warm springs, we had lunch in the town of Hot springs. We went and did a tour on our own of the hotel at Hot Springs. We drove home. I gave Paul and Allison the gift I bought them, a plate with a recipe for Whisky soup. I want to send some pictures.
I recorded this later. I am trying to read over my former blogs.
